WHAT FAITH IS AND IS NOT, to a world that knows and knows not.

John 21:4-6, 9-12 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. THEY CAST therefore, AND NOW they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

When walking by the flesh with the mind of carnality, we want the AND NOW before we cast our time, effort and attention to trust God for the rest!

We want the trailer to the movie of God's provision for our lives before we pay the price to allow the whole feature film of His miraculous power and provision to play out!

However when we walk by faith and not by sight and obey simply the spoken Word, then IMMEDIATELY we see God's promises come through!

The Bible says that when the Disciples CASTED their net, AND NOW the fish came!

The Bible also states concerning the feeding of 5,000 that AS the disciples gave out from the basket that once had just a few loaves and fish, that abundance came forth!

The Bible also records that as the woman poured out what little oil she had for the prophet Elisha, that more just kept coming out!

(Matt. 14:15-20, Lk. 9:12-17 & Jn. 6:5-13; 2 Kings 4:2)

It is when we give to Jesus what little we have that AS IT IS GIVEN, more is given in return! AS YOU POUR OUT more is pour into! As you give out more is added into!

I cannot tell you how majority of the times The Lord would have me speak prophetically or prophecy into someone's life that only one word or one little vision is given to me, but as I by faith speak what only was shown or told to me by The Holy Spirit, then it is like the flood gates open and He begins to pour it all out from my mouth into their heart!

How can you expect God to give you something new when your hands are still holding what is old? How can we expect for God to genuinely speak something new when we are holding on to foretold or foreknown knowledge from another? How can we expect God to bring us into new places, when we are not willing to leave the old place? How can we please God with faith when we do not give faith a chance to walk?

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith and belief are two different things! Belief is what help motivates your faith and faith is what affirm and confirm what you believe! The world mistakenly defines A FAITH to be a certain religious belief, but God defines FAITH as the action taken upon His word! (Romans 10:17)

Islam is not a faith, Buddhism is not a faith, Hindu is not a faith, Scientology, Judaism, Orthodox, etc. are all not a faith, but simply a claimed belief. Faith is full of POWER and cannot be found in its God given established form as powerless, such as these other beliefs. These other beliefs are motivated by man's power, self-will, self-centeredness and capabilities produced not by God's divine intervention. Faith is walking according to what Jesus says, since He is the Word of God incarnate.

As Hebrews 11:6 gives us a clue as to how we can please God, we can rest assure than when we please God with the action of our faith, than in return He will please us beyond any disappointment! If we can please God with our faith, than He will please us with the answer to our faith!

So what areas is God asking you to cast off from your ship of life? What questions are you holding on to that you never asked God? What things is He calling you walk out with no reliance upon your natural sight but simply of His word? What new waters has He called you to walk upon, what new territories has He called you to claim?

Faith is an action, NOT just a statement! Faith is not blind, when you have learned to see through the lens of what you come to believe!

James 2:18,26 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith WITHOUT works is dead also.
